Witness Appeal - Baldock Lane |
||
|
Hello Resident.
I am assisting with the investigating officer DC Aylward-Jones with a message to Herts Connected users in relation an incident, which occurred last Friday in the Letchworth & Baldock area.
Police have charged a man in connection with an incident in the Letchworth/Baldock area from Friday (13 March 2026). At around 7.40pm, a blue car collided with a woman in Baldock Lane before driving off. Emergency services attended the scene and the woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries. She has since been released. Ronaldo Myers, aged 42 and of the Letchworth South East ward in Letchworth Garden City, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously and Section 18 grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent. He appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court and was remanded into custody. He will next appear at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday 14 April.
DC Aylward-Jones is appealing for assistance in locating any potential witnesses, and gathering CCTV/ Video doorbell footage from this specific area which is relevant to where the offence happened. If you have one, I was wondering if you could check your camera and see whether any footage has been recorded between 1900-2000hrs (7-8pm) on Friday 13th March 2026. Any footage can be uploaded to: https://upload.5fdams.aetopia.net?ref=4EEK9Z
Please get in contact by emailing DC Aylward-Jones at kim.aylward-jones@herts.police.uk quoting ISR 708 of 13 March 2026.
